Paul Culpin

Development Manager

  • Over 48 years’ experience of oil and gas field development and operations
  • Worked with Rockhopper since 2010 initially as a consultant before joining full time in 2011
  • Previous roles with Exxon, Mobil, Enterprise Oil, Burlington Resources and Newfield Petroleum
  • Worked in many areas of the world and has been a part of the senior management team for three international green field oil and gas development
  • projects including Bijupira-Salem FPSO offshore Brazil.

Lucy Williams

Geoscience Manager

  • Geoscientist with over 30 years exploration and development experience. I have worked on a variety of geologic basins across the world.
  • First 11 years with Chevron during which time she was Lead Development Geologist on the 4.5Tcf Britannia gas condensate field in the North Sea
  • Subsurface Manager of the Songo Songo gas field; a strategic asset in Tanzania producing gas for power and industrial customers
  • Joined Rockhopper in June 2011 during the Sea Lion appraisal drilling campaign. Worked on the first reservoir geomodels and managed the extensive data acquisition and analysis programs. Asset Manager for Rockhopper’s non-operated Egyptian assets.
  • Chartered geologist. I have held a number of posts at the Geological Society including sitting on the Board of Trustees, Chair of the Petroleum Group, Chair of the Training Course Committee and member of the Professional & Chartership Committee.
